Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 lb potato gnocchi
- 1 bunch broccolini, thick ends discarded
- 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
Seasonings & Extras
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- Pinch of red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) to prepare for roasting the ingredients evenly.
- Prepare broccolini and mix with gnocchi. Chop the broccolini into thirds and place it on a large baking sheet along with the potato gnocchi.
- Add seasonings and sausage. Drizzle the olive oil over the broccolini and gnocchi. Sprinkle the minced garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and cracked black pepper evenly. Crumble the sweet Italian sausage and scatter it across the pan.
- Bake the sheet pan meal. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast everything for 30 minutes, tossing halfway through to ensure even cooking and browning.
- Finish with butter and parmesan. Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Toss the gnocchi mix with the butter and parmesan cheese. Serve with extra parmesan sprinkled on top for added flavor.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, spread ingredients evenly and avoid overcrowding the pan.
- You can substitute broccolini with broccoli florets if preferred.
- Use mild or spicy Italian sausage based on your taste preference.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated in a skillet to restore crispiness.
- Adjust red pepper flakes quantity for desired heat level.
