  • 4 Cups Chicken Flavored Rice
  • About 2 tbsp. Soy Sauce
  • About 2 tbsp. Sesame Oil
  • About 1/2 tbsp. MSG


Instructions

  1. Cook the Rice: Prepare the chicken flavored rice following the package instructions.
  2. Whisk Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the egg and egg yolk, and set aside.
  3. Prepare Wok: Heat peanut oil in a wok over medium heat until smoking, then discard the excess oil.
  4. Sauté Aromatics: Add smashed garlic and sliced shallot to the wok, and fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Add Eggs: Pour in the whisked eggs and stir until they are almost solid.
  6. Combine Ingredients: Mix in the cooked rice, ensuring it is well incorporated with the eggs.
  7. Season: Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice, then press it down with a spoon.
