Ingredients

Main Ingredients:

  • 20 oz frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 10.5 oz can of cream of chicken soup or homemade version
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 lb shredded cooked chicken

For Topping:

  • 2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 4 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine salt, pepper, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Add chicken, cheese, and hashbrowns. Mix well.
  3. Transfer to Baking Dish: Place the mixture into a greased 9×13 baking dish.
  4. Prepare Topping: In another bowl, mix crushed cornflakes with melted butter. Spread this on top of the casserole.
  5. Bake: Bake in the oven until golden brown, around 1 hour.
