Description
A creamy, chocolatey no-bake dessert made with layers of crushed Oreos, chocolate pudding, whipped topping, and a hint of cream cheese. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or any sweet craving.
Ingredients
- 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Gummy worms (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until finely crushed. Set aside about 1/2 cup of the crumbs for the topping.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the cold milk and chocolate pudding mix until smooth and thickened. Refrigerate for about 5 minutes to set.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. Fold in half of the whipped topping until smooth.
- Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the chocolate pudding, combining well.
- In an 8×8-inch dish or serving bowl, layer half of the Oreo crumbs at the bottom. Spread the pudding mixture over the crumbs, then top with the remaining crushed Oreos.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to set.
- Before serving, sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top and add gummy worms for decoration, if desired.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use light cream cheese and sugar-free pudding mix.
- Can be made a day ahead—flavors improve as it chills.
- Serve in individual cups for parties or kids’ treats.
