Ingredients
Chicken:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Season the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6-7 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
