These chewy Sheet Pan Chocolate Chip Cookies are a convenient and delicious way to make a large quantity of cookies with minimal effort and cleanup. Ingredients
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 large egg yolks, room temperature
- 2 Tbsp. whole milk
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. pure vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
- 2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
Additions:
- 2 cups chocolate chips, plus more to sprinkle on top (semisweet, milk chocolate, dark, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Heat oven to 325°F. Spray a standard half sheet pan with nonstick spray and set aside.
- Mix the wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, dark brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, egg yolks, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: Fold in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until mostly combined.
- Stir in chocolate chips: Gently fold in chocolate chips until just combined.
- Spread the batter: Transfer batter to prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Top with additional chocolate chips, if desired.
- Bake: Bake for approximately 22 minutes or until slightly underbaked. The cookies will settle as they cool.
- Cool and serve: Allow the cookies to cool completely on the sheet pan, then cut into squares and enjoy!
