Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add Butter: Pour in the melted butter and stir until everything is well combined.
  4. Prepare the Base: Take half of this mixture and press it firmly into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  5. Add Rhubarb Layer: Spread your rhubarb jam or cooked rhubarb evenly over the crust.
  6. Top with Oats: Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top of the rhubarb layer.
