Ingredients

Fettuccine Pasta:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook Fettuccine: Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook Shrimp: Season shrimp with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. Prepare Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce is creamy.
  4. Combine: Return shrimp to the skillet, add cooked fettuccine. Toss well to coat in Alfredo sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
