Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Pasta:
- 12 oz pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 3 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp dried shallots
- 2 1/2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 1/3 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp gluten free flour
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
- 2 cups spinach (diced)
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Chicken: Season the chicken with paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Boil the Pasta: Cook the pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Cook the Chicken: Cook the seasoned chicken in a skillet until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. Set aside.
- Pasta: Saute garlic, onion, shallots, tomato paste, garlic paste, Italian seasoning, paprika, and salt in butter. Add broth, cream, spinach, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until creamy.
- Add the Pasta and Chicken: Combine cooked pasta with the creamy sauce. Add chicken strips or serve over the top. Enjoy!
