Ingredients
Dough:
- 1 cup (130 g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup + 2 tsp (90 ml) milk or water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp (14 g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temp
Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- 3 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
Glaze:
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1/2-1 tsp milk
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375℉ (190℃) and prepare a loaf pan.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Prepare dough: Mix milk (or water) and vanilla, add to flour mixture, knead into a smooth dough, and shape into a log.
- Cut dough: Flatten the log, cut into 20 pieces, and coat with melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar.
- Bake: Arrange the coated dough pieces in the pan and bake for 8-10 minutes.
- Make glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for the glaze.
- Finish: Drizzle the warm cinnamon roll bites with glaze and enjoy!
