Ingredients
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 medium egg
- 80 g 0% fat Greek yogurt*
- 30 ml unsweetened almond milk*
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients:
- 50 g stevia or granulated sweetener*
- 50 g plain or all-purpose flour*
- 33 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 15 g chocolate chips*
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Pre-heat oven to 175°C (350°F).
- Mix wet ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg and stevia until light and fluffy. Then whisk in the yogurt, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Combine dry ingredients: Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder until smooth and lump-free.
- Add chocolate chips: Fold in the chocolate chips, then pour the batter into a prepared 8×8 inch baking tray.
- Bake: Bake for around 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs.
- Cool and slice: Allow the brownies to cool before slicing and enjoy!
Notes
- You can sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top before baking for a more decadent treat.
- For a gluten-free version, use a gluten-free flour blend.
