- 2 cups old fashioned oats

Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add 3 cups water, 2 cups almond milk, 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, ½ teaspoon salt, and 2 cups old fashioned oats to the Instant Pot insert. Stir the ingredients together until well incorporated to ensure even cooking.
- Set Pressure Cooker: Secure the lid on the Instant Pot with the valve set to the Sealing position. Set the Instant Pot to Manual Medium Pressure and program the cooking time for 5 minutes. The pot will first pressurize before the cooking time begins.
- Pressure Release: Once the 5-minute cook time is complete, carefully perform a Quick Release of the internal pressure. Be cautious of the hot steam escaping during this process.
- Serve: Carefully remove the lid and give the oatmeal a good stir. Portion the oatmeal into serving bowls, add your desired toppings, and serve hot for a comforting breakfast.
Notes
- Almond Milk: You can substitute almond milk with coconut milk, cashew milk, soy milk, or simply water. Using only water will yield a less creamy texture.
- Meal Prep: Store any leftover oatmeal in airtight containers once cooled completely. Refrigerate and it will keep fresh for up to 5 days.
