Description

Creamy, rich, and perfectly chocolatey, these homemade fudgesicles are the ultimate frozen treat for hot days or whenever you crave a cool dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the whole milk, cocoa powder, and sugar over medium heat.
  2. Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth and warm.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the mixture cool slightly.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture evenly into popsicle molds.
  5. Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
  6. To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull out the fudgesicles.

Notes

  • For extra creaminess, substitute part of the milk with heavy cream.
  • Add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
