Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the whole milk, cocoa powder, and sugar over medium heat.
- Continue stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is smooth and warm.
- Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let the mixture cool slightly.
- Pour the chocolate mixture evenly into popsicle molds.
- Insert sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid.
- To remove, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds and gently pull out the fudgesicles.
Notes
- For extra creaminess, substitute part of the milk with heavy cream.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavor.
- Store in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
