Ingredients
Pasta:
- 10 oz (300 g) chickpea flour pasta, or any high-protein pasta
Beef Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, finely diced
- 1 medium green bell pepper, finely diced
- 1 pound (450 g) lean ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup (250 g) tomato sauce, passata
- ½ cup (125 g) light cream cheese
- ½ cup (125 g) light sour cream
- 6–8 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Boil chickpea flour pasta according to package instructions. Reserve pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté Onion and Pepper: In a skillet, sauté onion and pepper in olive oil until soft.
- Cook Beef: Add ground beef, garlic, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned.
- Add Sauces: Mix in tomato paste and sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in Cream Cheese: Add cream cheese and sour cream, cook until creamy.
- Combine Pasta and Sauce: Toss cooked pasta in beef sauce. Add pasta water if needed.
- Finish and Serve: Sprinkle basil, adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
