  • 2 pre-made pie crusts

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons coarse sugar (optional, for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Pie Crusts: Roll out the pie crusts on a lightly floured surface. Place one crust on the prepared baking sheet and set the other aside.
