Description

These Easy Strawberry Cheesecake Brownies combine rich, fudgy brownies with a creamy strawberry cheesecake swirl, creating a decadent dessert that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients required on the box – typically eggs, oil, and water)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam or preserves
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or lightly greasing it.
  2. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions and pour most of it into the prepared baking pan, reserving about 1/4 cup for topping.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the brownie batter in the pan.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of strawberry jam on top of the cheesecake layer and gently swirl it using a knife or toothpick.
  6. Dollop the reserved brownie batter on top and swirl slightly into the cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use a high-quality brownie mix or make brownies from scratch.
  • Chill the brownies before cutting for cleaner slices.
  • You can substitute the strawberry jam with raspberry or mixed berry jam.
