Ingredients

Fettuccine Pasta:

  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta

Shrimp:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

Alfredo Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Shrimp: Heat olive oil in a skillet, season shrimp with salt and pepper, cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp from skillet and set aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, simmer, then gradually add Parmesan cheese until creamy.
  4. Combine and Serve: Return shrimp to the skillet, add cooked fettuccine. Toss to coat with the Alfredo sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Garnish with parsley before serving.
