Ingredients
Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.3 lbs. total)*

- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp butter, divided
- 1 whole garlic bulb (about 8-9 garlic cloves)**
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Fillet the Chicken: Using a sharp knife, carefully fillet each chicken breast into two thinner cutlets (or use thin-cut chicken breasts).
- Season and Coat: Season each breast with Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Then sprinkle the flour over both sides of the chicken breasts and rub it in until the chicken is evenly coated.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil and 1 Tbsp of butter. Cook the chicken on each side until golden brown and cooked through (about 4 minutes per side). Remove and keep warm.
- Sauté Garlic: Peel and smash garlic cloves. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until lightly browned and fragrant.
- Make the Sauce: Add chicken broth, heavy cream, and garlic powder. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine and Serve: Return chicken to skillet, spoon sauce over top, and heat through. Serve with parsley.
