For the Sauce:

  • 8 ounces cremini (baby bella) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 12 tablespoons Dijon mustard, to taste
  • 12 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce, to taste
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup full-fat sour cream

Instructions

  1. Cut and Season the Chicken: Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken in two batches until browned and cooked through, about 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate.
  3. Prepare the Sauce: Add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and butter to the skillet. Sauté mushrooms and onions until browned and liquid has evaporated. Stir in Dijon, Worcestershire, and garlic. Cook for 1 minute.
