Ingredients
For the Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.3 lb. total)
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 Tbsp cooking oil
For the Alfredo Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Additional:
- 1 Tbsp parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
- 8 oz. fettuccine
Instructions
- Season the Chicken: Rub Italian seasoning and salt on both sides of chicken breasts.
- Cook the Chicken: Sear chicken in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Prepare the Sauce: Melt butter, sauté garlic, then add cream and Parmesan until simmering.
- Cook the Pasta: Boil fettuccine until tender; reserve some pasta water.
