Description

A delicious fusion recipe combining the flavors of butter chicken with a traditional pizza, creating a unique and flavorful dish that will delight your taste buds.


Ingredients

Mint Chutney:

  • 1 cup mint
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 large clove garlic
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 1 serrano chile (use half for less heat)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt, plus more to taste
  • 1/2 cup water

Pizza Dough:

  • 1 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 to 5 cups all-purpose flour
  • vegetable oil (for bowl)

Toppings:

  • approximately 2 cups leftover butter chicken (shredded)
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • thinly sliced bell pepper
  • diced pineapple
  • sliced red onion or shallot
  • chopped cilantro (for garnish, optional)


Instructions

  1. Mint Chutney: Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth.
  2. Pizza Dough: Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add oil, salt, and flour gradually until a smooth dough forms. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Toppings: Prepare all toppings while dough rises. Roll out dough, add toppings, and bake at 450ºF for 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly. Top with cilantro before serving.
