Cream Cheese Glaze:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons milk


Instructions

  1. Mix dough: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine milk, yeast, sugar, salt, butter, and egg. Add flour and mix on low speed.
  2. Consistency: Increase speed to medium, adjusting flour as needed for a soft, tacky dough.
  3. Rise: Let dough double in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Rolling: Roll dough into a 12×18 inch rectangle.
  5. Slicing: Brush with melted butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, roll up, and slice into 12 pieces.
