Ingredients
Chicken:
- 2 large chicken breasts, halved or 4 regular-sized pieces
- 1 ½ tablespoon Adobo seasoning
- ½ tablespoon chili powder
Panko Breading & Other Binders:
- 1 ¼ cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoon hot sauce
- ¼ cup buttermilk
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
Hot Honey Sauce:
- ½ cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Season chicken with adobo seasoning and chili powder; marinate for 10 minutes.
- Breading: Set up three bowls for breading – one with panko breadcrumbs and seasonings, one with eggs, hot sauce, and buttermilk, and one with plain flour. Coat chicken in flour, then egg mixture, and finally breadcrumbs.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F, bake breaded chicken for 20 minutes.
- Make Hot Honey Sauce: In a saucepan, combine honey, cayenne, chili powder, and hot sauce. Heat on medium-low until combined.
- Glaze Chicken: Brush hot honey sauce on baked chicken. Serve with parsley.
